SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it truly is alarmed with regards to the large quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service position created for intervention encounters a significant influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
